can't find using folder in search syntax

something's not right with 1.4.1.1005 (x64). i used to be able to find files eg GAOR-083 with just using "GAOR 083" (without quotes) but now it won't find it.

i also used to be able to find "GAOR-083 F:" (without quotes) if it was inside F:\downloads but now that doesn't work.

what would be wrong? has the syntax changed?

Please make sure no search options are checked under the Search menu (eg: uncheck match case, uncheck match whole words, uncheck regex)

Please make sure the Everything filter is active under the Search menu.

Please try forcing a rebuild:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Indexes tab on the left.
• Click Force Rebuild.
• Click OK.

Please let me know if the issue persists.

ah i had Enable Regex selected. unchecking that fixed things. Thanks for the quick reply!
