I did a search for a specific song, and Everything found 3 files; 2 exist and one doesn't. I forced a rebuild and it still shows a non-existent drive, in this case L: . See attached. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?
Thanks!
FIXED: I use removeable drives a lot. Previously I had checked in NTFS to Include New Removeable Volumes, and it didn't work. Everything would not include the removeable drives so I added them under the Folders section. This included both F: and L: drives. So this is where Everything was getting the L: designation, but I don't know how it would indicate a file that wasn't present (the drive wasn't inserted or turned on) even after rebuilding. To Include New Removeable Volumes is working in the current version of Everything so by removing the F: and L: references in folders the returned results are now correct.
