Hello all,
Why do I see the search results come up with duplicate lines?
I force re-built but duplicates are still there.
Thanks,

Re: Duplicate results
I guess you have enabled Folder indexing for an NTFS volume.
This gives of course duplicate results.

Re: Duplicate results
Thanks for your reply.
I took drives C and D from Indexes > Folders, and that solved the problem.
However, for my mounted X, Y, and Z drives on my NAS, I discovered that I cannot do the same. If I take them out of Indexes > Folders, they completely disappear from the search results.
How do I deal with the mounted drives?
Thanks!

Re: Duplicate results
For the mounted NAS drives you have to configure Folder indexing.deguza wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 9:33 pm Thanks for your reply.

Re: Duplicate results
Thank you again.
Upon inspection, I discovered that there are actually duplicates in the same folder! Same name, same everything except the tags are a bit different. So the operating system on the NAS is able to consider them to be different files by looking at the tags, I suppose.
