Windows search missing / can't search for apps
Since I installed Search Everything, I can no longer click on the windows symbol and search for anything. This continues even if I have quit out of the SE app, and closed it in the taskbar.
Is this expected behavior?

What version of Everything are you using? (Everything -> Help -> about)
What version of Windows are you using? (Start -> Run -> winver)
Does the issue occur before you start Everything? or only after you've shown an Everything window?
Everything doesn't touch Windows Search.

Microsoft Search consists of 2 components: an online-search and a local search, where the online-serach is prioritized.
They messed up the on-line part a couple of days ago, causing your issue.
It has nothing to do with Everything.
