Adding a subst mapped drive to everything

Post by JTCGiants56 »

Hello, I used the subst command to map a folder to a drive letter. I would like to exclude the original location, and have everything use the new drive letting instead when indexing (K:). The problem is everything does not automatically pick up this drive as existing, and I am also unable to manually add it via folders. Is there another workaround I am missing?

You are probably running Everything as administrator (and mappings are per user)

Solution:
disable Run as administrator and enable Everything Service. Both can be found under Menu:Tools > Options > General.

Thank you, I actually had both checked. That fixed it.
