I created a keyboard shortcut to call everything.exe with Autohotkey.
This works, but the only problem is that always the first time I call everything.exe, the first load is slow with the message "loading database", taking some seconds to go.
From the second time I call it, everything appears instantly.
And as you can see in the image below, it is marked to load with Windows.
How could I make everything to run this "loading database" during the windows boot?
Everything Version 1.4.1.895 (x64)
Windows 10 x64
2 SSD Raid-0
1.600.000 files

Re: Slow load first time
Windows is most likely preventing Everything from running on system startup as administrator.
Please try running Everything as a standard user:
Please try running Everything as a standard user:
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the General tab on the left.
- Check Everything service.
- Uncheck Run as administrator.
- Click OK.
- Restart Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).

Re: [SOLVED] Slow load first time
In fact, I had marked everything.exe to run as administrator.
