Index Livedrive Briefcase drive

Hello everyone,

I use Everything on a daily basis and its great!

I have added a new service to my daily used services called Livedrive. It's an alternative to Dropbox and has very similar characteristics. mainly, a shared folder between computers.

Livedrive is creating a virtual Drive/Folder in my computer which allows you to browse your files from there. Livedrive is Storing the actual files on Drive C under a hidden system folder but it could be changed via registry file editing (in my case I changed the path to drive L). The actual files where they are stored are sort of encrypted or generated as different file names

The original file names of the files appear properly when browsing the 'Briefcase', which is sort of a virtual directory/drive created under my computer as mentioned above.

I set it as drive N:/

The thing is I cannot seem to add that Livedrive Briefcase to the Everything Index, which is a MUST for me.

Please help.

How are you attempting that?
NTFS index? As its a "virtual" container, thinking that wouldn't fly?
As a Folder? I'd give that a shot. And if not that, try a File List.

Yes Everything see the files like in screenshot 1.

I tried every way possible to add that drive/folder.

I cannot see it in the NTFS list.

I also cannot add it via Indexes>Folder>Add because I just don't see that N:\ drive no where when using Everything.

What can be done? I don't know what file list is really.. I tried to search my computer for the file list extention *.*efu but haven't found anything.

I wonder if it is a privilege issue...

Are you running Everything as an administrator or do you have the Everything service installed?

Please try switching to the Everything service and running Everything as a standard user or try running Everything as administrator and see if the N:\ drive can be added from Tools -> Options -> Folders.

No this is not a privilege issue.

Everything does not support virtual drives.

Please add thisss pleaseee
