keep_missing_indexes=1 not working

Post by azev »

Hi,
I set keep_missing_indexes=1 in Everything.ini but it not always working.
If my usb drive is not connected then Everything won't keep the entries to that drive.
It only keep the entries if, after Everything indexed that drive, I eject it. But if I restart the computer and that drive is not connected I get this in the log:

Code: Select all

28/03/2016 09:48: Everything 1.3.4.686 (x64): .\src\db.c(56942): _db_volume_open_syncronous(): failed to open volume \\?\Volume{684bc214-e037-11e5-a15f-086266995617} 2
And it won't keep the index for that drive.

Any help please?

It is definitely a bug.

If Everything is running and you disconnect the Drive it is ok. Everything will keep the entries while it is running.

BUT, if I restart Everything and that drive is not connected then it won't keep the entries for that drive!

Please fix that! make Everything keep the entries even if the drive is not connected.
