App seems to hang during "Loading Database" win 10

Hello!

I've recently upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1. I've been a long time user of Everything and I use it every day. The application didn't seem to have any problems when I first upgraded, however, now when I open the GUI to perform a search, there are no results and the status bar at the bottom reads "Loading Database". I've seen this text before when the app was working fine, it would be displayed when i started the app but it was cleared when the results were shown. Any Idea what this could be? I haven't tried reinstalling the application yet, however, I have updated the installation. Here are the version details:

Version 1.3.4.686 (x86)

So the application starts and seems responsive, but the Loading Databases never completes so there are no search results in the results area.

Please try forcing Everything to rebuild its database:
  • Completely exit Everything (You may need to end the Everything.exe process - see below).
  • Delete your %APPDATA%\Everything\Everything.db file.
  • Restart Everything
  • Wait for Everything to rebuild a new database.
To End the Everything.exe process:
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + ESC to open the Task Manager.
  • Click the Details tab
  • For each Everything.exe process in the list:
    • Select Everything.exe
    • Click End Process.
    • Click End.
If the issue persists, please try the Everything 1.4 beta.
