Hello guys,
for 3 days now, Everything's been indexing only the C:\Windows folder tree!
* I'm running v1.3.4.686 (x64)
* I have made no changes in the options
* I have tried resetting to Defaults
* I have tried rebuilding the db
* I have tried all things listed here http://www.voidtools.com/forum/viewtopi ... 848#p11848
Orphans? some:
but I don't think this explains the "only-Windows" indexing..what do you think?
Thanks!
Everything only scans c:\windows and subfolders
Re: Everything only scans c:\windows and subfolders
Please make a backup of anything important on your C: drive and check your C: drive for errors:
To check your C: drive for errors, run chkdsk:
To check your C: drive for errors, run chkdsk:

- Click Yes to schedule a disk check.
- Restart your computer.
- Does chkdsk find any errors?
Re: Everything only scans c:\windows and subfolders
I should have run the chkdsk before coming here
chkdsk /f
and db rebuild, solved the issue!
thank you!

Re: Everything only scans c:\windows and subfolders
I noticed that this morning Everything had reverted to the "only-C:\windows" db (13k items)..I had to rebuild it again to see back the 234k items I have on my disk.
This time, no chkdsk was needed, so probably a glitch?
