Something is Hosed

As you are aware, I am a fairly long time user. Never B4 had problems, something is wrong now.

Looked thru the FAQs and the Forum, but found nothing to help with my problem.

Keeps telling the database is hosed.

Uninstall via Control Panel and Revo.
.db and .ini file do not go away.
Cannot delete either, even using Unlocker and other similar proggies.
Tried reinstalling various times and no joy...

Try using Process Explorer to force any applications that may have opened these files to close them.

Or you could reboot in safe mode and delete them that way.

Nothing seems to be tied in with these...

Deleted files in CMD Run Box
Deleted files in Safe Mode

Uninstall multiple times with re-install
DL/Install last version.

I give up ....

Everything does not have permission to create or write to files in it's installation folder (Access denied).

Try restoring ownership of the "Everything" installation folder.

Dunno how I did it, but it works:-))
I have spent a lot of time lately at

bleepingcomputer
mymachineishosed
thismachineistotally4kedup

You know how it goes....

Occassional reboot or crash - very infrequent
Invalid handles
BSOD every 3 days -> daily -> multiple times per day
and so on

I still don't have this thing completely clean, but I have used every trick under the sun.

Who cares - Everything is running again - JOY )))))))
