New windows hotkey key

With this option, when the "everything" windows is closed i can access the search windows with single key click.
The options menu permits only one key "like P, 1, Home etc"

But i want the hotkey as "ctrl+1" or "ctrl+esc".
How can i do it?

You need to set both the hotkey modifier and hotkey key.

To change the hotkey to ctrl+1:

• In "Everything", under the Tools menu, click Options
• Click the General tab.
• Select ctrl from the hotkey modifier list.
• Select 1 from the hotkey key list.
• Click OK.
