Win 7 startup: "Do you want to run the following program from an unknown publisher?"
Is there a way to stop Windows from asking me that?
Also, when i click accept, it loads the search window OK. If i close it, there remains a shortcut in status bar. In order to bring up again the search window i need to 1) click on icons list, right click on Everything icon and Select New Search window. If I simply click on the Everything icon it does nothing.
Is there a way to make this easier? I.e. a single click and/or shortcut to bring up an Everything search window and avoid the startup nuissance by Windows?
By the way, I have been using this program fanatically for many years on XP.

Re: Win 7 startup: "Do you want to run the following program
This message is caused by the Windows UAC blocking Everything running at startup with Administrative privileges.
Does this message occur with Everything 1.3.1.636b or later with the service installed?
