This is in the interest of compact setup: I would love to shrink the folder panel to save screen space, but the drive letters get covered if the panel is not wide enough (default display for drive is "drive name (letter:)"). I would appreciate it if there is a way to display only the letters.
Example: "System (C:)" -> "C:"
OS: W10 22H2
Version: 1.5.0.1383a x64
Display only drive letters in Folders panel?
Re: Display only drive letters in Folders panel?
To hide the volume label in the folder sidebar:
- In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Advanced tab on the left.
- To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
folders - Select: folders_sidebar_labels
- Set the value to: false
- Click OK.

Solved, thank you. Somehow couldn't find that setting in 1.5.0.1383a, but it is available once I updated to 1.5.0.1390a.
