Search from a text file BUT return results in same order

I've successfully managed to use advance search to search a directory from a text file but I need the results to be displayed in the same order as the list that I supply. Is this possible? At the moment it just returns them in alphabetical order or I can sort by 'created' 'modified' but this is of no use to me.

I'll explain my use case if it helps: I want to use a playlist file to search for music files on my PC hard drive but it has a different folder structure to my phone from where the playlist originated. That's why I need to preserve the order of the playlist/text file.
