My Filters represents various 'tasks'. It would be very handy for my work-flow if ctrl-clicking a Filter (menu, droplist, filterbar) opens it in a new tab.
Given that ctrl-click is currently used for combining filters, perhaps there could be several advanced options you can set to assign actions to click modifiers -
filter_ctrl_click
filter_shift_click
filter_alt_click
(and maybe combination modifiers to provide more)
the user could then set these to be some action -
And the filter with existing
Or the filter with existing
Open filter in new tab
Open filter in new window
Edit filter
(perhaps some others or a bookmark name)
I think these commands could additionally all be provided on the right-click menu when right-clicking an item in the Filter bar (it currently just has Add to Filters), menu or droplist given they already have right-click menus. In fact the menus might as well be the same in content - currently right-clicking a Filter bar item has some menu items right-clicking the others don't.
Cheers, David
Filter modified click actions
Re: Filter modified click actions
I will consider support filter_ctrl_click_action, filter_shift_click_action and filter_alt_click_action advanced settings.
Thank you for the suggestion.
For now, please consider adding your 'tasks' as Bookmarks.
Ctrl clicking a bookmark will open in a new tab.
