How to set Window Hotkey to WIN+SPACE ?

Hello,

I'm a Mac user, so I'd like to have everything behave like spotlight. At least, its apperiance when it starts up

Therefore I wanted to set the Toggle Window Hotkey to WIN + SPACE, but it is not possible, for whatever reason.

I checked here, but did not find a solution (which I understand) and the settings, which shows some cryptic numbers to me, like

toggle_window_key=2592

or some other numbers, but no humnan reading anywhat.

What is the correct number, when I want to have WIN + SPACE as my hotkey to toggle the fine everything windows? Typing in those keys enters nothing in the textfield. It seems to be ignored. Almost all other combinations work nicely.

Windows creates a WIN+SPACE hotkey on startup to change the keyboard layout.

You will need a third party program to override this behavior.



Please try Microsoft PowerToys
Under Keyboard Manager, remap WIN+SPACE to Ctrl+F12 and set Ctrl+F12 as your Hotkey in Everything under Tools -> Options -> Keyboard -> Show window hotkey

That is such a typical Windows-Nonsense
And I surely will forget about this on the next installaton...
