server journal on NAS so clients work when indexing server offline?

Hi,

I was wondering if the PC running the everything server can put the journal data on a NAS so other clients can access the journal when the indexing PC is offline.

The Everything Server is designed to always be running.

A unix version of the Everything Server is on my TODO list.
You might be able to run the Everything Server on your NAS one day..

I will consider an index journal file on disk instead of a service.

A version of the Unix server that works readily with the synology and would probably be very popular.
