Alt+Back focus lost

Post by therube »

Alt+Back focus lost "on <space>"... ?

hmm...

Sometimes when I Alt+Back, oh, something happens, heh.

Sometimes expected file is out of focus ?
Most times the expected files is in focus.
Sometimes, oh, maybe the Searchbar has focus?

Sometimes hitting <space> ? jumps to end-of-results-list, rather then anywhere expected?

Something along those lines.
Now it may very well be something I'm doing, but I've run into it, enough (recently).
At first I was thinking, oh, just a "finger" error.

And I've tried to pay more attention, recently, but I haven't quite put my finger on just what is going on... yet.

There's a bug in the current version where the focus is almost always on the search box.

This will be fixed in the next alpha update (1341a+).
In this update, the focus will stay on the result list by default.

Everything will remember the focus if you:
Go back to a previous search.
Change the focus, for example: to the search box.
Go forward to a different search.

If you go back to the previous search again, the focus will be restored to the remembered focus, for example: the search box.

Search commands will keep the focus on the search box.

Changing to a previous search should bring the focus into view.
I haven't run into the focus being out of view when changing to a previous search.
A slow search or sort might be causing this?
