- Select the file/folder and press Shift + F2.
- Add your space to the new format.
- Click OK.

- Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
/rename_trim=0 - Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
- If successful, rename_trim=0 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.

Interesting. I did not know that. I have been setting Windows not to hide extensions since that option first appeared. Yes it was unexpected, but maybe some people use that as a feature. I would not vote to change anything here, as I am going to use rename_trim=0 from now on.There's quite a few requests from users to trim the spaces.
