BUG: The Alpha version cannot detect the availability of the latest version of alpha

The Help > Check for updates... menu should look for the latest alpha version.

I am using Everything-1.5.0.1335a.x64.
The next version (Everything-1.5.0.1336a.x64) is available.

But the Help>about menu tells me that Everything is up to date [BUG].

BTW I am not sure whether the "Check for updates on startup" feature works.
I restarted my laptop multiple times recently, but the latest version may have appeared after the last time I restarted the laptop.

In addition to "check on restart", can be done on a weekly basis even when the laptop is NOT restarted?

After downloading 1338a, I used the Help > Check for updates command in 1337a.x64 to check if it works.
It reported "everything is up to date!" [BUG]
