I have seen some threads on Fuzzy Search.
But they were not conclusive (it is not clear whether it is already implemented, or through a plugin).
The help doc does not mention fuzzy search at all.
On the other hand, there is a TODO point that Fuzzy Search needs to be ranked.
IINW it implies that fuzzy search is already implemented, but the results are not ranked.
Kindly consider adding fuzzy search.
This is immensely useful when the spellings of words have variations:
1. When our collection of files are named in a mix of British English and American English, which have different spellings of common words,
2. When we have file names that are transliterated from non-English languages, resulting in variation in the spelling.
Feature request: Fuzzy search
Re: Feature request: Fuzzy search
If memory serves, @void did experiment with fuzzy search, but it gave way too many irrelevant results to be useful.
Re: Feature request: Fuzzy search
I did have something going in the early builds of 1.5.
Unfortunately it was abandoned due to irrelevant results.
The results would need be sorted by relevance for fuzzy searching to be useful.
I'll experiment with this more in Everything 1.6.

Re: Feature request: Fuzzy search
Does 1.6 mean the next stable release?
Or the version after 1.5?
(Some apps have odd for experimental and even for stable release)
