can everything delete folders/files faster? when pressing shift-delete

Everything uses the Windows Shell to delete files.

Disabling file_operation might help improve performance when deleting thousands of files:
  • Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
    /file_operation=0
  • Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
  • If successful, file_operation=0 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.
