image thumbnails loading very slowly

I searched for certain jpg files on my desktop PC and the results list is very large. I have Everything set to the results list view set to Large Thumbnails. The thumbnails for each screen load when I scroll to the next screen down. The thumbnails are taking a long time to load, while on my laptop they load much faster. I have quite a few million files on my desktop PC. Here are the sizes for my thumbcache.db files - 322MB (1280), 191MB (256), 150MB (768) and so on. The thumcache_idx.db file is 1.8MB. The thumbcache.db files are on a SSD.

I looked at Void's post in this thread - viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11861&p=47626&hili ... low#p47626 - and I have verified the following:

Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything - checked
Run as Administrator - unchecked
Everything Service - checked

Any ideas why the thumbnail display is so slow? Is it because my thumbcache.db files are so large?

These thumbcache files are quite large.

Everything loads thumbnails as 256x256
Please try clearing your thumbcache_256.db file.
