Are these properties indexed for each single file on each drive: Total-Disk-Size;Free-Disk-Size;Available-Free-Disk-Size
Are these properties indexed for each single file on each drive: Total-Disk-Size;Free-Disk-Size;Available-Free-Disk-Size

So as I need these properties only be shown one time could I do something like this (which does not work here obviously), just chose a file or folder being on each drive by default to get each of these three properties shown once:

Yes.Are these properties indexed for each single file on each drive: Total-Disk-Size;Free-Disk-Size;Available-Free-Disk-Size (what lasts very long)?
Please try the following:
Check Include folders
Uncheck include files.
Leave include only folders blank.
Change Exclude folders to: **\**
This will index the desired property for roots only.
Use root: to search for roots.

Many thanks!
It looks like this now:
So now the real / total size of the drive will be shown and the real / total available free space.
Is there a property showing / indexing the used space on a drive (or does "size" do it with "root"? And "bytes" respectively column1:=size: columns:name)?

No, I will consider adding a "total used" property. Is there a property showing / indexing the used space on a drive?
Thanks for the suggestion.

May be as an option to be shown in the folder panel near the index (letter) of that drive (may be together with the available free disk size and Total-Disk-Size). I assume, in the column would be shown for each file / folder the same value.
But "size" appears at least to display similar values like the size of the used space is shown here. And "bytes" respectively column1:=size: columns:name as well. So may be they show the approximate amount?
Indexing the two properties Total-Disk-Size and Available-Free-Disk-Size only for the roots lasts extremely long as well until now. Seems as if it would take 2, 3 hours or longer. Why is that? May be the other properties already being indexed are indexed again? Is there a way to make it faster?

This means, e.g. for drive C: the aomount will be indexed only once for the root C:? No folder, file else?Yes.
Please try the following:
Check Include folders
Uncheck include files.
Leave include only folders blank.
Change Exclude folders to: **\**
This will index the desired property for roots only.
Re: Are these properties indexed for each single file on each drive: Total-Disk-Size;Free-Disk-Size;Available-Free-Disk-
Sorry, I don't understand. But "size" appears at least to display similar values like the size of the used space is shown here. And "bytes" respectively column1:=size: columns:name as well. So may be they show the approximate amount?
column 1 will show the exact size in bytes.
You are still indexing Total-Disk-Size and Available-Free-Disk-Size for all folders.Indexing the two properties Total-Disk-Size and Available-Free-Disk-Size only for the roots lasts extremely long as well until now. Seems as if it would take 2, 3 hours or longer. Why is that? May be the other properties already being indexed are indexed again? Is there a way to make it faster?
Please make sure Exclude folders is set to:
**\**
Please make sure Include files is unchecked.
Indexing these properties for roots only (by using the above exclude) should be instant.

But "size" appears at least to display similar values like the size of the used space is shown here. And "bytes" respectively column1:=size: columns:name as well. So may be they show the approximate amount (of the used space is shown here)? So I would think those sizes would show the sizes of the used space on a drive. But "size" appears at least to display similar values like the size of the used space is shown here. And "bytes" respectively column1:=size: columns:name as well. So may be they show the approximate amount?

Actually I would think I am not, because I have added the **\** to "Exclude folders".Indexing the two properties Total-Disk-Size and Available-Free-Disk-Size only for the roots lasts extremely long as well until now. Seems as if it would take 2, 3 hours or longer. Why is that? May be the other properties already being indexed are indexed again? Is there a way to make it faster?

Yes, that is what I thought, but it does not seem to be like that here.Indexing these properties for roots only (by using the above exclude) should be instant.
Re: Are these properties indexed for each single file on each drive: Total-Disk-Size;Free-Disk-Size;Available-Free-Disk-
Size is the size of the file contents. But "size" appears at least to display similar values like the size of the used space is shown here. And "bytes" respectively column1:=size: columns:name as well. So may be they show the approximate amount (of the used space is shown here)? So I would think those sizes would show the sizes of the used space on a drive.
Please try the size on disk property.
The size column and size on disk column can both be added at the same time.
The size on disk column is shown in bytes.
Everything is likely reindexing a different property.Yes, that is what I thought, but it does not seem to be like that here.Indexing these properties for roots only (by using the above exclude) should be instant.
Try removing all properties except Total-Disk-Size and Available-Free-Disk-Size.
Indexing only these properties should be instant.
Re: Are these properties indexed for each single file on each drive: Total-Disk-Size;Free-Disk-Size;Available-Free-Disk-
And that shows a little less amount of bytes because the size of a file is smaller than the size it uses saved on disk? So it would only show the approximate space used, which would be a bit smaller?Size is the size of the file contents.
Like this(?):Please try the size on disk property.
Why? Can one change that to automatically or GB or so (like it is shown under "size"?The size on disk column is shown in bytes.
What is the difference between size on disk and total size on disk?
Re: Are these properties indexed for each single file on each drive: Total-Disk-Size;Free-Disk-Size;Available-Free-Disk-
It seems to happen again after adding total size and total size on disk, there is no other property added and no drive. May be I am missing anything.Everything is likely reindexing a different property.
Re: Are these properties indexed for each single file on each drive: Total-Disk-Size;Free-Disk-Size;Available-Free-Disk-
Please remove the Total Size on Disk property.
This property is extremely slow to gather for folders with many subfolders.
Total Size on Disk will search for all files (including all subfolders) to calculate the total size on disk.
