What is the difference between "Bookmark" and "Search"? When should you use bookmarks, when should you use search filters?

Filters only remember the search.

I never understood why it is not possible to move the special features of filters to bookmarks, and leave the filters to be just filters.

Bookmarks have the same search features as filters.

Do you mean remove the column, sort and view options from filters?
