How to Search for files/paths greater than a Certain Length?

Post by BrettUSA269 »

Reason I need the search - Using OneDrive and syncing - which is seems to have an issue and trying to fix potential issues. I took care of the "&" character issue but think it may be with either file name length or path+file name lenght. I think the max is 400 chars and i just may have some over that limit and was hoping there is a way in Search Everything (I downloaded latest version of 1.5a today).

Is there a way to search for file names over a certain length?

Is there a way to search for Path and/or "path+ file" names over a certain length?

path:len:>12

Regardless of OS or storage location, 8.3 is supported everywhere, so if you limit your file names to... ;-).

The maximum path length is typically 259 characters.

The following search will show files/folders that exceed this limit:

path:len:>259
