Synology DSM
Windows
If a search shows I have two directories:
1 NTFS
2 Synology
and I hover over each, I get
1 shows "Size xxx MB"
2 shows "Size 0 bytes"
The Windows directory is resident
The Synology directory is Windows mapped to a Win Drive D:
If I then double click on either of the above, I get the correct listing of the subdirectories' contents.
I am unable to screen cap -and- hover at the same time.
Any help?
Win directories v Synology directories
Re: Win directories v Synology directories
Clues as to how to get that to happen?and I hover over each
Re: Win directories v Synology directories
Sorry, I'm not following you.
Re: Win directories v Synology directories
On my end, when I hover a file name, I don't get anything.
So there must be something I turned off (on my end).
Hoping (others) could clue me in as to what to switch so that I can see information when hovering.

Re: Win directories v Synology directories
That's interesting. I don't think that I have ever heard of this. My only _guess_ is to index your files. You can do this by choosing a drive, then click 'Properties' Then check 'Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed in addition to file properties'

Re: Win directories v Synology directories
Good now. The only change was to tick 'Run as administrator'. Rescan was not needed. Thank you.
