Sharing PCs

Post by mohsen.amiri »

Hello
I have shared 2 PCs to each other and installed Everything on one of. I do not want to search the shared PC files. The Exclude option (Tools>Options>Exclude) does not work and does not show the shared PC drives to make me able to exclude it from searching. How can I exclude shared PC's drives from searching?
Thank you very much.

What happens?

Are you trying to add the exclude folder as a network share (eg: \\server\share)?
-If so, please adding the local folder as an exclude folder(eg: c:\share).

Could you please give an example of the path that shows in Everything.

Could you please give an example of what you have added to Tools -> Options -> Exclude.

Tools>Options>Exclude>Add Folder does not show the path of shared PC drives. Then I can not able to exclude it. Can I say obviously?
Is there another way to exclude shared PC drives from searching?

  • Click Add....
  • Manually type in the exclude path and click OK.
  • Click OK.
-or-

To browse to the exclude location, please try enabling hidden files:
  • From the Start menu, search for: folder
  • Select Show hidden files and folders.
