Content indexing - parsing excluded folders?

These are my test settings for content indexing, which should only index files on the T: drive (there are exactly 3 small files that match these criteria)

When I start the content indexing:

Why are files on the C: drive parsed and more specific: why are files in C:\Windows and C:\program files parsed?
(after about half an hour, the indexing of these 3 files is at 47%)

I think your entry in the field Exclude folders is useless.
Here you have to enter folders from drive T: which should not be indexed if any
as you said all of T: should be indexed.

Are you indexing any properties under Tools -> Options -> Properties?

-Because, "content" is just another "property" in Everything.

I was!

And indeed, after removing all (other) proprties, content indexing is as expected.

Is it necessary to revisit all entries under Indexes > Properties, even if none of the entries there changed?
(I guess I already know the answer; you wouldn't do this if it wasn't necessary)

Everything will try to reuse the existing indexed properties.

It looks like in your case a full rebuild occurred.
Did you force a rebuild?

Not intentionally, but the statistics page reports:

(Is that local time or UTC?)

Local time.

Everything should still keep your indexed properties for "Structure changed."
I'll do some tests..
