For example, I want .exe .lnk files to be shown at the top of the list.

Everything doesn't have a sort to do this yet.
I will consider adding a sort to do this.

- In Everything, right click vivaldi.exe and click Set Run Count....
- Set a high run count, eg: 1000
- From the View menu, under the Sort by submenu, click Run Count.
vivaldi.exe will now be shown at the top. - Consider doing this for all exe files (only problem is this will not work for new exe files)

Thanks. This is an acceptable solution
Ideally, the ability to prioritize extensions would provide a very convenient way to launch programs with just the keyboard.
For example (WOX + Everything ):
ALT + space -> First 3 letters of the program -> Enter
