Version 1.5.0.1389a (x64) upgrade

Post by sk2107 »

Hello,
Today I upgraded from Version 1.5.0.1383a (x64) to Version 1.5.0.1389a (x64) and found that all offline drives data was removed, and it was a very big collection of files for external hard drives, now I have a recent backup for Everything-1.5a.db (which is 4 times of the size of the new one) .

Now my question is: can we in any way update the data from the backup file in order not to repeat the process of gathering data and recalculating the properties (which took me weeks to gather), I know for sure in database upgrades such things could happen but if you have a way to spare me time of repeating the process I will be so thankful.

( I tried to replace the database with the backup copy but it always resets)

Now I restored Version 1.5.0.1383a (x64) with its full database and I have to keep using it until I get your reply .

With lots of thanks

Were you indexing Volume label with 1383a under Tools -> Options -> Properties?
-If so, 1384a changed how the Volume Label properties works and will require a database rebuild if it was indexed.
The Volume Label is now automatically indexed in 1384a+

Please try removing the Volume Label property with 1383a, then update to 1389a.
