Why can't I change any colors?

I am on Win11 with dark theme enabled in windows
Everything is using the service,running in portable mode and is not located in some protected folder
Any changes I make to the colors are ignored and it keeps running with the dark theme

I am running Version 1.5.0.1385a (x64)

Everything has 2 independent "sets" of colours, called Themes: Standard (aka light) and Dark.

When defining colours for the Dark theme (Menu => Tools => Options => General => Fonts and Colours), make sure the Theme is either set to Dark or User Default.
After that, you can define the colours for your dark theme.


BTW: Windows has 2 dark/light theme settings: one mode for Windows itself and a separate one for applications.
Make sure the application one is set to dark if you chose the User Default theme in Everything.

What I was hopping for is to keep the windows dark theme for "everything" but make everything(the program)look like when I am using the light theme
I have to manually change the color to all items(unless I am missing something)

To change Everything to light theme:

• From the View menu, under the Theme submenu, check Standard.

I will consider an option to use a dark theme window frame only.
