For example I use the seach "dc:today" and uncheck the "subfolders" checkbox
When I click on "Everything" nothing is shown until I enable the subfolder checkbox
When I click on my C and D drive,it shows the main folder and that's expected
But when click on a white space, everything shows the folders from both drives as if the subfolder checkbox is enabled and I choose "Everything"
Is this a bug with the folders panel
Re: Is this a bug with the folders panel
This is by design.
Clicking a white space will clear your selection.
All files/folders are shown when there's no selection.
The subfolders option is ignored.
Ctrl+Space can also be used to toggle the selection.
What is your expected behavior here? Should Everything show no results when there's no selection?

Re: Is this a bug with the folders panel
Oh ok,if that's intended behaviour then thats fine
I was expecting that everything will now nothing if nothing is selected

Re: Is this a bug with the folders panel
I guess there is white space only if you have the tree collapsed so that there is space between the bottom-most folder and the bottom of the Folders pane? Or is there some other place to click to clear the selection rather than making a new selection?
Re: Is this a bug with the folders panel
I usually use Ctrl + Space
