recently if I [double] click in everything search results on a folder or file or right click "open" or "open path", explorer used to open the folder and/or file location.
This no longer happens.
If any instance of Explorer is open, that particular instance will be opened indiscriminately and whatever folder inthere was last opened.
this issue applies to files and folders.
I have tried various Explorer settings but none seem to have effect resolving the issue.
The settings in Everything appear to be the same as they were when it all worked.
what could it be?
