When enabled, a journal entry is created for all changes to files/folders, even when the Everything database is not changed.

journal_add_all

By default, Everything will only add a journal entry when the Everything database is changed in someway.

If you enable journal_add_all a journal entry is created for all changes, even if the Everything database doesn't change.

For example:
Changing the attributes for a file when you are not indexing attributes will not add a journal entry as the Everything database does not change.

Thanks David.

I find the index journal viewer very useful...Do you (or anyone else) know of a similar stand alone programme that is similar to the index journal?

Thank you for the feedback harryray2,

I plan to add more journal tools.

dumpusn - prints out the USN Journal for a drive or file/folder.
