Shifting of index

This is a minor one. If I indexed a column by Date Recently Changed and then remove the column from the selector , files still continue with that indexing. Would it (indexing )be possible to be shifted to the default name index of course with a refresh . The same holds for any other column too.

I think it's important to be able to sort by a column when it's not visible. But after hitting refresh it could be possible to reset the sort to name, I will consider an option to do so..

Yes. In keyboard shortcuts the features are accordingly. In that case (when columns are not visible) it needs a bit of assuredness of the column by which it is sorted. Perhaps the status bar display could include the column by which is sorted if the column is hidden.

EDIT Ok anyway it is available @ view>>sort by. Just fine.
