- Vertical tabs (Personal favorite) -- monitors have much more horizontal resolution vs. vertical; vertical tabs would enable displaying tab's full search titles without getting compressed down to pinches like with horizontal tabs, and having to horizontal scroll
- Ability to "tree" tabs
- For visual organization/grouping of related searches instead of opening numerous separate windows
- For sub-searches spawned from a particular search/tab -- I frequently use Everything's context menu ability in the "Path" column to navigate down a sub-folder tree before activating a "Search in Everything" on a particular folder, usually as a temporary check
- When using Everything's context-menu "Search in Everything" inside an Everything window, a setting to do so as a new tab spawned adjacent to the current tab
- Ability to "tree" tabs
- "Save session" ability, for saving a search window's tabs (or optionally all open search windows/tabs), retrievable via a popup window similar to Filters, with previous sessions able to be loaded:
- As a "Replace session", which closes out Everything's current windows/tabs (optionally saving them as a session) before restoring the saved session's windows/tabs
- Or, restoring a saved session into a new window appended to any currently windows/tabs
- "Merge windows/tabs", collating tabs from currently open windows into a single window
- Ability to add custom name/tag to Everything windows, appending a custom tag or title to an Everything window, for designating a search window to a particular topic/task related searches, e.g. "Work", "Programming", "Journal", "De-duping", etc.
Not a big deal or issue, of course. However, the above suggestions would greatly help the organizing and management of searches for any who do a lot of searching and sub-searches, especially for separate focuses/tasks!
That said, I realize most of these are likely wishful thinking and probably beyond scope, so no offense taken if they're rejected
