How to use with an SD card

Post by faaku »

When trying to use an SD card, the information from the previous card gets overwritten when inserting a new card. What settings should I use to prevent this?Version 1.5.0.1383a (x64)

Please try indexing your SD card as a FAT volume instead of a folder:
  • In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the FAT tab on the left.
  • Select your SD card drive.
  • check Include in database.
  • Click the Folders tab on the left.
  • Select your SD card drive (for example E: drive) and click Remove.
  • Click OK.

Of course there is nothing.
You have to add your SD card folder to it.

Is your SD card listed under Tools -> Options -> FAT?

One thing you could do is run a separate instance for each card. They never mix together then.

Has it taken 12 days because you already solved it and skipped making the video? Would be nice if the latest post explains how it was solved if so.

No configuration file was created I used the portable version.
It looks like I replaced the 64GB card with a 16GB card. Can you see that the contents of 64GB have disappeared?
