Ctrl-H whilst renaming

Post by meteorquake »

Currently whilst renaming an item Ctrl-H performs a delete.
There's already a delete key - it would be great if Ctrl-H could pop up a simple Find-and-Replace acting on the name being edited, with two text boxes, [Find Text] & [Replace With], and two action buttons, [Replace All] & [Replace in Selection]
Typically this is for when I've pasted in a name from something else and want to adjust it, for example changing spaces to hyphens.
Perhaps add to the while-editing right-click menu there too.
Cheers, David

I will consider a Ctrl + H find and replace option.

Thank you for the suggestion.

For now, hit Shift + F2 (outside the rename) to find and replace.
