restoring view is not working

when session is restored, all tabs get restored but view is all thumbnails. it is not saving and restoring the individual views for tabs

Odd.
I'm not able to duplicate?


Session.backup.json is only updated in certain circumstances - of which I don't recall offhand.
Though (looking now) I can see times when session* was not created at all, or when session* was dated earlier then the last Quit (& so on re-open | History Restore not all the prior windows were there).


So maybe you hadn't met the criteria for the sessions* to be updated?

Are you setting the view/sort in your active filter?
(Search -> Organize Filters -> Select active filter -> Edit -> View/Sort)



Please note:
Everything will only update your session when you change your search.
If you restore a session and only change the view/sort without changing the search, the new view/sort is lost when you exit Everything.
