Keep tabs when reopen
Keep tabs when reopen
I hope tabs/window position/size etc all of UI thing get keeped when reopen.
Re: Keep tabs when reopen
What happens if you have several tabs open and execute the menu "File" > "Exit - ALT+F4" and then restart 'Everything'?
(In 'Everything' 1.5.0.1380a (x64) on my pc the view remains the same as before).
Re: Keep tabs when reopen
It opened only the default tab, at launch.
In Chrome Windows, Ctrl+Shift+T right after relaunch Chrome brings tabs of the last window, which is somewhat make sense for me. I think if I keep press C+S+T, it will keep restore tabs and windows.

In the 'Everything' Options - 1.5.0.1380a (x64) > Keyboard:
CTRL+SHIFT+T (Global) is used for "History | Restore Recently Closed Tab".
I think this function is intended for running operation and not to restore tabs after an 'Everything' restart.
You are probably missing settings so that the automatic restoration of tab(s) [and search queries in tab(s)]
takes place after an 'Everything' restart.
Here are my settings - without any claim to completeness/accuracy:
Menu "Tools" > "Options..." >
If not, I could give you an excerpt regarding tabs from the Everything.ini.

Re: Keep tabs when reopen
Restore your previous window from History -> Recently closed windows if Everything is running in the background (Tools -> Options -> UI -> Run in background)
Restore your previous session from History -> Restore previous session if you disable Tools -> Options -> UI -> "Run in background".
To automatically restore the previous session:
Ctrl + Shift + N to reopen closed windows.
Ctrl + Shift + T to restore closed tabs.
Restore your previous session from History -> Restore previous session if you disable Tools -> Options -> UI -> "Run in background".
To automatically restore the previous session:
- In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Advanced tab on the left.
- To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
restore - Select: session_store_restore_on_first_shown_window
- Set the value to: true
- Click OK.
Ctrl + Shift + N to reopen closed windows.
Ctrl + Shift + T to restore closed tabs.
Re: Keep tabs when reopen
I wouldn't expect "everything" to stay the same after a restart, I expecting for reopen, or should say reshow from systray you know.
