is Everything supposed to disable normal Windows Search Indexing?

I'm asking this question because i have been noticing that my default windows search index keeps being turned off

Everything does not disable Windows Indexing.

Even more: Everything 1.5 can make use of the Windows Indexing results (if asked to).

You can make a search query in Everything using Windows Search, for example, as follows:

(Since 'Everything' version 1.5.0.1258a from 7.5.2021, the Windows Search can also be used for search queries in 'Everything).

Then you miss a lot of functions, better performance, content indexing and access to Windows indexing.
And this is only a short list.
