Hi,
simple but difficult problem, I spend much time to solve:
I'll try to search for file path in following structure:
Important: No search for folder, but files in folders, e.g. all files in folder 3!
if I search for "3", why do I see files in folder "2" and "1"?
if I explicit exclude file "Name", I miss of course "File3" in "Folder3", this is not the way.
What is the meaning of "Path" in this context, or how to search for path (without filename) only?
Thanks in advance.
Path Search Bug or Feature
Re: Path Search Bug or Feature
path: is a search modifier.
Using path: makes Everything search against the path and name.
Please try the path-part: search function to search the path part only.
Tip: Right click the Path column header and click Search for Path..

Ok, thanks, this was very helpful and solves my problem.

I suggest, to adjust the help-syntax (see below) to avoid confusion, this is a topic that affects also first time users!
The "Full Path" statement is obsolet too?
