I have indexed all of my drives (about 8 of them) and rely on Everything for all my search needs.
Recently something happened and I lost my database so I set it up to scan my drives again.
After hours of scanning, I notice that every file is listed twice in the database. Is there any fix for this without having to rescan my drives?

NTFS volumes are automatically indexed by "Everything".
Adding a NTFS volume as a folder index will show duplicated results.
Please remove any NTFS volumes from your folder indexes:

Great, thanks for the information.
I usually run Everything as a service with Admin privileges. Is that a bad thing? Why as a standard user? Thanks for getting back to me so quick.
