Exclude hidden files and Folders

When , the above folder is enabled , and a file from the result list is deleted , it stays put. Of course the context for that file does not work , and the whole functions normally if the exclude hidden files and folders is OFF.

I assume you are having trouble with deleted files staying in the Everything index with the exclude hidden files and folders option enabled?

By deleted do you mean move to the recycle bin or permanently delete?

There is a bug in 649b where a renamed file will not be removed from the index if it's new location does not exist.

Yes deleted files to Recycle bin remain. New location does not exist??. Recycle bin was not under hidden files and folders...

The recycle bin is a hidden folder. When you enable exclude hidden files and folders the recycle bin is not indexed by Everything.

There is a bug in 649b that will not move files to a folder that is not index.

For example deleting a file, which moves the file to the recycle bin and since the recycle bin is not index, the file remains in the index.
