Checkboxes beside Folders

Post by nagan »

Could a tick box be given beside the drives/ folders to indicate an active state. Suppose a user wants to exclude a certain drive for the time being , he can tick it off and if wanted again just put it on. When a new item is added it comes default with a ticked checkbox. This may be specially useful in Folders , file lists and exclude , where the only way presently is to remove and add it thru explorer. Also any such changes could trigger the next reaction and should be cautious enough to see the changes (a checkbox may be ticked off and then on again -which makes it no change.) This is a request for another luxury perhaps if found meaningful for the future....

I have thought about doing something like this, I will review the option to toggle ntfs, folders and filelists indexes.

I might need to implement support for adding and removing indexes with out requiring a full rebuild to make this option more practical.

Oke great idee to make a left side menu to seach particular drives or folders. However, sub data bases are unnecessary is you use the folder path as part of the search string (maybe using some wildcards).

thus a thickbox to only search drive c will enter a search string C:\* in the search bar.

maybe with some OR search string more search limits can be implemented
