A way to break long lasting right click op (context menu)

(Intro: thanks, I'm using Everything all the time. :)

When I select some thousand file entries and than (may be by accident) do
a right click upon, it takes several minutes until the context menu appears
respective Everything is responsive again.

Would be nice if there was a way to prematurely interrupt that operation.
(Or is there?)

I've added the option to cancel the context menu with the escape key to my things to do list.
