User-defined colors for selected result entries

Has anyone suggested allowing the user to define a color for entries in the results, depending on whether the entry matched some criteria.

For example .... if a result entry is a link (rather than the actual file) then the user could specify that any result whose extension matched ".LNK" would get colored blue.

This would not require a lot of processor power as the list of results is rarely going to be more than a few hundred (or thousand) hits.

Maybe this has been suggested before?
