Search bar dropdown showing previous searches

I use different two instances of Everything.

In one, when I start to key in a search term, a dropdown appears which allows me to select from previous searches that matches what I have keyed this time.

This dropdown does not appear in the other instance. Which setting will provide the same "matching" effect? I tried to match advanced settings (in Options) that use the word "history" but that doesn't seem to be sufficient.

Menu "Tools" > Options... > History > Always show search suggestions

Thank you. I presume that the check box corresponds to one of the advanced settings, but it's a lot easier!
